LePop is a traveling pop-up art gallery intended to breathe new life into underutilized corporate spaces available for lease or sale. For the next several months Charlie LaCroix will present a series of art exhibitions in the former MyBuys space in the Comerica building at 101 N. Main St in downtown Ann Arbor. These shows feature the work of up and coming artists who specialize in cutting edge art across a variety of media.
The third of these exhibitions, Machines of Loving Grace, is a four-week exhibit at the LePop gallery. Machines features whimsical, futuristic paintings by Stephen Kade, the expertly designed and hand built mechanical sculptures of RoboTodd, and Melvin McGee’s paintings, rife with technicolor symbolism.
The opening event for Machines of Loving Grace will be held March 9th from 8 p.m.-12 a.m. Live music by Fanboy and refreshments will be provided. This is a free event for your viewing and listening pleasure, courtesy of Charlie LaCroix Art Brokerage.
Regular gallery hours will be announced online. Charlie LaCroix invites the community to inquire about holding your next daytime or evening event, speed dating party, family reunion and more at LePop.
