Xuan Alyfe is a young street artist who made his first visit to the U.S. from his native Spain to be featured at LePop. Xuan’s murals and installations on the streets of Spain evoke Miro and Kandinsky – if Kandinsky had grown up listening to punk. His work is playful yet strongly geometric, primitive and at the same time unexpectedly whimsical. His fine art displayed at the gallery was just as inspired and we were delighted by the musical stylings of Sky Covington on opening night.
